After getting off of work and realizing I was going to be sitting in front of my vise and then likely the computer for the bulk of the evening I thought it might be a good idea to take the dogs down to the Madison River and run and play and maybe see about catching a fish or two. I was doing what I do naturally and that is procrastinate. Although I had a good excuse this time, it was for the dogs. You know to get them out. Well the River looks great with flows a little under 1000cfs and much of the ice gone because of some slightly warmer weather. We will continue to have days in mid 30s to mid 40s upcoming and this can make for some great winter fishing. Enjoy if you get a chance to get out.
Thanks for checking in and I’ll see you on the water.
